State Finals SLO
Congratulations to our State Champion Nursery/Landscape Judging Team consisting of Taylor Gallaty, Mira Reginato, Paden Baer, and Coach Vaz! They will be competing at the National Convention in Indiana in the fall!

State Finals
At the California State Finals Contest in Fresno, freshman Juliana Mueller won the Creed Contest and as the State Champion will be heading to compete at the National Contest next fall! Great job, Juli! The Grapevine Judging Team consisting of Paden Bear, Jake McDougall, Owen Booth, and Derick Adams and Coach Tom Vazquez won their contest and are also State Champions! Way to go, boys! And Novice Parli Pro consisting of Gabe Baldree, Wyatt Kane, Wyatt Reginato, Maddie Steele, Taylor Arrowsmith, and Maggie McDilda won third place. Great job, everyone!

Modesto Junior College Field Day
The Modesto Junior College Field Day went very well. Our fruit tree judging team got 3rd overall with Gabe Baldree taking 5th high individual. Our livestock judging team got 6th overall. And finally the nursery landscape team took 1st overall with Paden Bear taking 3rd and Taylor Gallaty at 5th! Great job guys!!

At the Davis Parli Pro contest our advanced team took 4th while our novice team took 3rd.

Shasta Section Contest
We had some great achievements from our members at the sectional contest. Juli Mueller took first in the creed competion, Emma Brogoitti took 4th and Toni Kostelec took 3rd in the prepared speech contest. Mira Reginato and Paden Bear took 3rd and 4th in the Job Interview contest. And finally our Novice and Advanced Parli Pro teams both got first.

Chico Parli Pro contest
West Valley FFA had a huge success at the Chico Parli Pro Contest with the Novice team placing 2nd and Gabe Baldree receiving High Chair 4 and the Advanced team taking home first with Taylor Gallaty and Paden Bear also being awarded High Chairs!

Reedley Vine Pruning
Congratulations to our vine pruning team! Our A team took 1st high team with Derek Adams taking 5th high individual. The A team is looking forward to state finals next week at Fresno State.

Etna Speech Contest
This week was one for the books. Sedar Kane took first at the Etna speech contest and four freshmen girls competed in their very first Creed competition. Great job girls!

Kingsburg Vine Pruning
The vine pruning team took first high team in Kingsburg. Paden Bear got first high individual and Jake Mcdougall took fourth high individual. Great job guys!

Dinuba Vine Pruning
Today our vine pruning teams spent the morning in a vineyard in Dinuba. Owen Booth took 1st high individual, Jake McDougall took 2nd high individual, and Derek Adams took third high with the “A team” taking high team overall.

St. Helena Vine Pruning
Our vine pruning team kicked off the mid-winter contest season in St. Helena. The team went down Friday afternoon for a tour of the Inglenook Winery and competed Saturday morning taking fifth overall. Great job guys!

Shasta College Field Day
Our Livestock Judging Team is off to a great start this year earning first place high team! And congratulations to Dalton Nichols for receiving 1st high individual! We're looking forward to a competitive year.
